If you're working for almost 16 hours online what's the best way to destress and relax?

I nice 15-30 minute run on the treadmill does it for me

Have you ever experienced that you're never stressed by your work rather it's your environment that gives too much stress? I guess that's what's happening to me now. Please help me how to handle this.

Imagine this: There's an ongoing construction at the ground floor of our building. Since the room where I worked isn't sound-proof, I can clearly hear it from where I'm working. At the front is a 24/7 TV. At my back is a store where store crew shout at each other.

Time to ask the boss to work remotely from home

I'm actually working like that way MadDog. The only difference is I'm staying in the dorm because our house is still under construction. It takes some time before my application for DSL gets approved.

As soon as our house is completely fixed, I'll work from there. Anyway, I've already talked to my boss about it.

As of now, I just want to know any immediate solution to my current situation.

You're right MadDog Have you heard anyone who is putting tiles at the inside part of the house? Imagine yourself working near that working man. If you use ear phones to listen to music, you'll just worsen the situation.

How long is this suppose to continue?

I'm not sure. I've known that the ongoing construction is for a proposed rooms for rent. So far, they're just in the process of putting tiles to each room. There are all in all 9 rooms downstairs. The estimated end date for this construction is sometime on December

Where do you live? Is this very normal?
