Hello everyone!

As we are starting with our Affiliate Program, I am really at a loss as to what practical things should I start with.

First in the list is the proposed incentive/commission available for our affiliates. I noticed that most programs in here start with something then the commission goes higher for any hardworking affiliate.

For a pay per sale program, what do you think guys is the most practical commission to start with?

I think the commission structure needs to depend on what your profit margin is and what commissions the competition is offering. Of course it is good practice to leave some room for increased commissions for your top affiliates. Lastly, cookie duration is important to many affiiates. We offer lifetime commissions to our affiliates which is always a plus.

It's been awhile...I've been doing some research trying to see what's the exact commission range of Affiliate Programs that belong to the same niche as ours. So far, I've found various information and I'm still not certain what's the best commission to start with.

By the way, if a particular program is signed up to different network solutions, will that affect the offered or proposed affiliate commission available for affiliates?
