Our parent company, RevPartners, Inc. has recently taken over operations of the Web Site Review Community YourSite.nu. (http://www.yoursite.nu).
The site allows you to post your web site(s) for review by other members (there are over 4000 members) and provides several tutorials on web site development.
Feel free to post any comments and/or suggestions you have about the site. We are trying to make it a good resource for web developers and programmers.
offtopic { My team works together for 2 years. I formed it with my colleagues from the faculty.
XooNom.com is my project and i work alone on it because the rest is working on the paid projects. If you rated my site I already made it validate again (removed the marquee, going to add an iframe with scrollable content...).
As you can see in the About us-> XooNom members, we are all experienced in programming etc. We all work on different projects but we unite when needed.
The problem is that we design a really big project for our city (almost the biggest in the country), and it goes slow because they didn't pay the amount from the contract..., and besides all that we all go to the same faculty for Computer Science and Automatics (automation) and we are all earning our bachelor degree this year and then we are all going to masters (they changed the duration of studies and made it equal to the world, used to be 5 years for bachelor + 2 after that for masters). }
Problems I found on yoursite.nu: Adding long names for site name is not breaking the line by the user name (it goes over/under the username).
Some of the images on the main page aren't linked as they should be.
The link for the affiliate (my link for it) is under the, I presume, desirable area for it.
offtopic { No, it really used to be like that (without drinking). That’s why our engineers are well known in the world... Average duration of studies on my department is 10 years (with drinking ) but they changed the law to encourage the students to learn and finish it sooner. When you study well you don't pay many stuff and the state pays your studies (not everything of course, it’s called states budget financing). Now it's the same as in the rest of the world. }
Back to the yoursite.nu "problems": When I go to yoursite.nu and after it I visit your site (Revboard forum) the info above the top bar on the page (page title) remains the same (YourSite.nu website review community). When I visit your forum without visiting the yoursite.nu site it is OK.
Isn't "YourSite.nu - Website Review Community" the title of this forum within RevBoard? YourSite.nu's title is "YourSite.nu - Website Reviewing Community". Reviewing vs Review?
Hey there, I'm new here. I came in here to review sites. What do we do? We go to a site and then come back here and comment on it?
It's funny. I thought it was going to be like a "rating" number sort of thing. I guess I like this better. Feel free to check out and comment on my site.
