The affiliate program called Romance Coaching has the following details:
quote:The Spirit of Romance is an exciting book, rich with interactive exercises and perceptions designed by Romance Coach and Facilitator – Justin Luyt. Affiliates are compensated for their contribution of every sale. We recruit affiliates in the following content channels: - Dating - Relationships - Personals - Self-help - Marriage - Family - Women's interests Compensation is based on a PER-SALE basis of 20%. The Spirit of Romance has a promotion running with online selling price of $12.99 and Affiliate Commission rate of 20%.
However the affiliate link goes to a site promoting sex toys, gay sites, etc. Worst yet they are advertising other affiliate programs like Adam & Eve, Adult Friendfinder etc.
They show as having 0 sales in the last 60 days. It seems to me that they are stealing affiliate traffic and directing it to their own programs.
Does ShareASale regularly check merchant links to see that this type of fraud is not done?
It says that the last compliance check was 05/07/2004 but that is also the date the program became active
Has anyone else experienced this with other programs? IE The program gets affiliates and then changes their site to steal commissions from the traffic generated by affiliates?
