No, there is not a way to waive the fees. That is the amount that all merchants pay to run affiliate programs on CJ.

There are smaller networks like ShareASale that charge less. I think there setup fee is $350.

CJ charges higher fees, but they also have access to larger number of affiliates. You must weigh this into your decision.

You should also look into ClickBank and DirectTrack. What type of product is it?

Does Clickbank still only allow you to sell digital products?

I run a merchant program on CJ called DNA 11 (www.dna11.com/affiliates) and I was not able to get a reduction on the fees. However, if you are really nice to them, you might be able to get some bonus program features like a BOLD LISTING or program announcemnt in the newsletter. This industry is all about relationshiops, so build a great one with your account manager and it will help!
